I must say that I am a very cynical person when it comes to government. Government in essence is a slow-moving machine with so many kinks that even the smallest task seems to be difficult beyond belief. Let’s get one thing straight off the bat, I am cynical of ALL elected officials. How about Amsterdam NY? Is our government any different? Our government moves at the pace of a turtle. Code enforcement, potholes, lack of funds, growing taxes, inability to create jobs, priorities confused, political fighting and nonsense in general puts our people and government into shock. Where do we begin? How do we move forward? Of course there can’t be any ONE answer I believe. Our answers must be a collection of good actions, not just one.
